Hidden Bethel Gem: Le Mu Eats

April 4, 2019 in After Hours, Uncategorized - No Comments

Tucked away in the heart of Bethel, you’ll find Le Mu Eats. A blue shanty, serving up what owner/cook Sayvepen “Sav” Sengasavang describes as an combination of Southern cuisine and the Laotian food he ate growing up.

After winning The Best of Bethel’s “Best International Food,” we had to get over there to try it for ourselves. We ordered one of everything on the menu, and were completely blown away by the flavors and fresh taste of each dish. Keep scrolling and try to keep your mouth from watering.

Thai Iced Tea

You can’t have just one.

Hot Noodz

These noodles sure pack a punch with flavor and spice. If you’re not good with spice, don’t worry, they also offer Nude Noodz and Mild Noodz.

Basic Batch

“The best fried chicken I’ve ever had.” Light and crispy with some extra spice with their homemade chili aioli and a side of sweet with pickled veggies.

Bahn Mi

Filled with so many fresh veggies, this is your typical Bahn Mi with a choice of lemongrass pork or red curry chicken. Take one bite and you’re hooked for life.

Hot Potato

Their spin on the classic “loaded fries.” Potato wedges, melted cheddar jack cheese, Chinese sweet sausage, scallions, and pickled red onions.

Porké Bowl

A yummy rice bowl packed with flavor from the lemongrass pork, pickled red onion, scallions and chili aioli. The sunny side up egg just adds another layer of happiness.

Angry Rooster

A fried chicken sandwich with their delightful chili aioli, pickled veggies, and cabbage slaw.

Crunchy, delicious, classic pork egg rolls.

Le Mu Eats is located on Mechanic Street, right next to Steam Mill Brewing, and is open Thursday-Sunday from 12-8PM. Feel free to bring your take out over to the brewery and enjoy your food with a cold one.

Don’t miss their private dinners now happening once a season, where you can enjoy a multiple course meal in a magical location. Stay tuned through their Facebook page for updates.
